Amplifying AANHPI Voices Through the Art of Storytelling

This AAPI Heritage Month, we brought together a community of women for an afternoon of real storytelling, live coaching, and genuine connection — powerful stories from women who found their voice, and coaching to help every participant begin finding her own. The response said everything: our partners at Washington English Center invited us back to bring more workshops to their students, faculty, and volunteers — that next chapter begins July 28.

Own Your Voice, Lift Others — International Women's Month Lunch & Learn
March 17, 2026 · University of North America · Fairfax, VA

Let Her Shine hosted a Lunch & Learn for the staff, faculty, and guests of the University of North America — not a presentation, but a shared experience of voice, culture, and connection. The room applauded its women, then the men who stand alongside them. Participants shared moments when someone made them feel truly seen — and a warm bowl of pho became the afternoon's living metaphor: different ingredients, one beautiful whole. Because when one person finds their voice, it gives others permission to shine.

Celebrating International Women's Month with the ASEAN Spouses Circle
March 6, 2026 · Vietnam House · Washington, DC

Just ahead of International Women's Day, Let Her Shine joined the ASEAN Spouses Circle at a celebration hosted by the Vietnam House, honoring the voices, cultures, and contributions of women across the ASEAN diplomatic community. Our Own Your Voice team listened, captured content, and conducted interviews with women whose journeys cross borders, languages, and cultures — because some of the most powerful stories are carried between worlds.

Each event is a reflection of our mission:
