When we first shared the news that Let Her Shine is bringing the Motivating the Teen Spirit 2026 Teen Emotional Literacy National Tour to the DMV, we told you registration would open soon.
That day is here. Registration is officially open and seats are filling up.
On August 8–9, 2026, up to 150 teens will gather at the University of North America in Fairfax, VA for two immersive days with the legendary Lisa Nichols — building communication with clarity, self-trust, and confidence under pressure. It's completely free for teens ages 12–18, meals included, with parent/guardian consent required.
We'll say it the way we always do: Have a teen? Know a teen? Are a teen? This is the moment. Space is limited, registration is first come, first served, and once capacity is reached — that's it. With school returning around August 20, this weekend lands at the perfect time: our teens walk into the new year carrying real tools, not just summer memories.
Like diamonds, our teens shine brightest when they're given the tools to grow through pressure. This is that weekend.
Save the Date: Graduation Night — Sunday, August 9, 5:30–7:30 PM
The weekend still culminates in the moment we can't stop talking about: teens stepping forward to share, in their own words, what they discovered about themselves. Families, community leaders, and partners are invited. We'll have tissues on hand to pass out.

The Village Is Growing — Join Us
Since our announcement, community partners, local businesses, and earth angels across the DMV have stepped up to make this weekend possible. There's still a place for you:
Send a teen. Registration is free and open now.
Share. Forward this to one family, one teacher, one coach who needs to see it. You never know whose life one share could change.
Give. Every dollar helps us serve our teens powerfully — no amount is too small:
Support the tour on GoFundMe →Sponsor or volunteer. Local businesses and helping hands are still welcome — reach out and we'll find the place for your gift.
This is just the beginning and now it has a registration link. Let's shine together.
Thank you to our donors and community partners for generosity and support of the teens:
